Aside from the rigors of teaching at a university, academic research, weight lifting, martial arts training and writing, Ed enjoys riding motorcycles and off-road vehicles.
Ed has been riding motorcycles since he was 15 and raced motor-cross during his early twenties. Now he just rides for fun, but still enjoys sport bikes because of their fast acceleration and outstanding handling capabilities. At this time, touring bikes and multi-purpose dirt/street bikes (we used to call the enduros) just do no have the exhilaration when operated with Ed's competitive spirit.

Besides fun in the sun, Eddy loves the cold weather activities like snowmobile riding. Acceleration, cold wind, and warming up next to a fire is a great way to spend the winter!
